Photos

1. Step 1

   Open Camera — the little camera icon.

   On most phones it sits on the home screen. Tap it once. The screen shifts to show whatever the camera is pointing at.

2. Step 2

   Hold steady and tap the round button at the bottom.

   The big white circle is the shutter. A gentle tap is enough — don’t press hard. A small flash or click means the picture was taken.

3. Step 3

   The picture lands in Photos.

   Photos is the icon that looks like a flower made of colored petals. The most recent shot is at the bottom-left of the screen, ready to open.

4. Step 4

   To share with family, tap the square with the arrow.

   It sits below the picture, on the left. Tap it, pick the person’s name from the list that opens, and tap send. The photo goes straight to their phone.
